While to concept of a "water resistant" unit is interesting, the reality of the functionality of the plastic cover proved to be a negative when the unit is used in the sun light. Reflections off the cover made the iPad screen nearly impossible to see. Also the volume up and down button covers don't line up well enough to provide easy volume adjustments. Otherwise the hard frame and rubber outer frame should provide substantial crash resistance. The magnetic and swivel are nice for tripod use.

There are things to like and things not to like. I like/love the magnet disk mounting. I like the swivel. I like the hand loop but it should be removable. The rubber case is nice good quality rubber but it should have some rigidity to keep the iPad from bending. Like add strips along the X on the back - I thought they did from the picture. The main 2 things I really do not like are the plastic screen protector! It scratches very easy. In a week of owning the screen protector is a mess. And I have never even left the house with it. For the $100 price point it should be much better. Gorilla glass or something. Second is it is not be any stretch waterproof or even water resistant. Which is why I bought it in the first place. I am keeping it since it mounts to my Joy Factory mounts but for outside of the house and car I had to buy a better case. As military I can say - this is not military grade. PS tighten up the pencil holder too.

Works Perfectly and Protects iPad, not worried when i put this on the ground or carry around construction site. Pen stays in place and charges.
